Please enable users to be able to edit the alternate titles given to a resource. For translated resources, it would be helpful to add the original title to the alternate title field because different translators may give the same resource different names. This makes searching for a resource incredibly difficult if you don't already know which resources contain the text you are looking for. I know that I could add the original language title to the short title field, but if you have multiple versions of the same text, it becomes difficult to tell them apart.
Example:
When I try to find St. Augustine's "Enchiridion ad Laurentium de fide spe et caritate" one resource will name it "The Enchiridion" and another will name it "Faith, Hope and Charity" and another will name it a "Moral Treatise".
I can't simply search for "Enchiridion ad Laurentium de fide spe et caritate" because this will return any resource where the text is mentioned and may exclude translations of the text if they do not include the original title.
Using the short title field would cause at least two problems: 1) It would remove any version-specific information from the short title field (I use this to quickly distinguish between NPNF, Fathers of the Church, Ancient Christian Writers, and Loeb versions of a text) 2) For resources that are a collection of smaller works, the "Short Title" would soon become longer than the actual title of the resource (for the NPNF resource containing the "Enchiridion" the short title would end up containing the Latin title for 16 works...)
