Sync between resources on iPad split view

When I was using my iPad app, I had the split view of the lexam English bible and the faithlife study bible. when I changed the Bible text, the Bible study automatica changed to show the comentary of the Bible Verse. but now it does not do it. I want to use that function because it’s very convenient to me.
