Individual volumes of the New Interpreter's Bible
I would like to purchase INDIVIDUAL VOLUMES of the New Interpreter’s Bible (https://www.logos.com/product/8803/new-interpreters-bible) as I
- do not see the point to purchase the whole set for $600 !!!!! (WE ARE MISSIONARIES!)
- particularly since I am (presently) only interested in ONE volume.
It is no problem to purchase individually the books in print, why not in electronic format? 21st century?

I don't expect individual volumes of NIB to show up anytime soon in the Logos store. The publisher Abingdon seems very reluctant to work with Logos under the usual contract - apart from NIB and the related NIDB encyclopedia, they only sell through the eBooks store (even expensive, scholarly titles). We can be glad to see those two works on logos.com, since the eBook format from the other store is not really suitable for bible commentaries or dictionaries.
However, when you look at the NIB product page, you'll see that it says that NIB will download as one volume i.e. technically there has been only one file produced. So even if Faithlife wanted to break this up into individual works, and got the release from the publisher to do so (as sometimes happens with other publishers who first want to make the money in big chunks from those who pay for whole bundles, and later have them broken up to sell to those who can't/won't afford the whole thing), it would first require an effort to break up the NIB into individual files.
It's pure guesswork from my side, but I think the contract negotiations between Faithlife and Abingdon made it clear that the publisher never would agree to selling this in individual volumes - otherwise FL would have built those in the firstplace, even if breaking it up was only a slim chance years away.
But I may be wrong, and sometimes customers' interest or a new management may turn around decisions that stood for years. So, I won't take all your hope away (writing to suggestions@faithlife.com or posting in the suggestions forum or even contacting Abingdon about it may help), just not raise your hope that the current situation will change fast.

The electronic version is sold as one title that contains all 12 volumes. It is NOT broken out in individual volumes.

Tell that to Accordance or to Olive Tree, they, too, sell the NIB as one big Volume. Better yet, tell that to the publisher. They’re the ones who have made the decision to sell the electronic format in one big volume.
It’s frustrating, I get it, but a request works better than a complaint. Complaining is a sin 😜

A while ago I did contact Faithlife and Abingdon. Faithlife passes the buck to Abingdon and Abingdon passes the buck to Faithlife. Whoever I got on the phone claimed responsibility for my area of concern, but were unwilling to do something about it (deferring me by being "nice"). In the end I got the feeling, it is FAITHLIFE, that is responsible.
