8.9 Beta 1: Comments on Enhanced Milestone Search

"Enhanced {Milestone} search to support {Milestone <DataType = Reference>} and {Milestone <DataType ~ Reference>}. Note that the default operator has changed to ~ (intersects) if not specified, just like a regular reference search. This may change the results for {Milestone} queries, which previously defaulted to equality."

Not sure what previously defaulted to equality:

• {Milestone <Irenaeus Adv. Haer. 1.2>}  still highlights all of 1.2 in ANF1
• {Milestone <Irenaeus = Adv. Haer. 1.2>} now highlights only the chapter heading.
• {Milestone <Bible Mt 12>} still highlights all of Mt 12 in NAC Matthew
• {Milestone <Bible = Mt 12>} now has no results

I tried a variety of Bible & Irenaeus references, including ranges, and results were as expected.
