Root Search

Can someone please show me how to search for the root of a Greek or Hebrew term in Logos 8? I do not see the option in the pulldown menu when I left click on the word.

When you right click (not left!), the menu will provide many original language tools. This assumes that 1) you are using a bible with a reverse interlinear and 2) that you own a license (or Faithlife Connect subscription).

Also if using the current version, select root on the left side of the menu as opposed to the older version where the selection is made on the right.

Two questions:
1. Which version?
2. Do you own the RI or have a current Faithlife Connect subscription?

it may be an issue with tagging of the resource you are searching. What Greek text are you searching? I have a root search available in NA28

In general, my Greek Bibles show the root. However, Hellenic Bible Society. New Testament Patriarchal Text (ANTONIADIS TEXT) 1904. Hellenic Bible Society, 1904. and Tischendorf, Constantin von, Caspar René Gregory, and Ezra Abbot, eds. Novum Testamentum Graece. Lipsiae: Giesecke & Devrient, 1869–1894. do not.

Thanks for all your replies. David Thomas, I was doing it on the UBS5 but when I changed to NA28, I could option to search the root. It would be nice if Logos tagged all original language texts to do this.
