Laptop processor question

My Lenovo T430 is still doing well, but getting some age on it. I happened across a very good deal on a Lenovo P51 on clearance. It has a Intel® Core™ i7-6820HQ with vPro™ (2.70GHz, up to 3.60GHz with Turbo Boost, 4 Cores, 8MB Cache) processor which is now 2 or 3 year old technology. Everything else on it is what I would want. Would that still be a decent processor to run Logos for a few years?
