System crash
My computer shuts down when I try to start Logos. I have Logos 8 installed and am running a Mac on OS Catalina v. 10.15.1 I tried to get the log files but am not sure it captured before the system shut down. Here is is.

After a system restart I made it to the indexer icon before it kicked in and paused it for 4 hours and everything is running fine so my guess is it has something to do with the indexer. I just upgraded to Catalina 10.15.1

Please don't replicate threads (this is the third one on this issue).
The Indexer logs revealed a corrupt catalog database.
Remove the /Users/Ken/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/vo2kjibc.nrc/LibraryCatalog folder and restart Logos. It will take some time to recreate.

Dave,
I tried this solution but didn't work for me. Any other options?
Thanks in advance.0 -
Welcome to the forums George! Sorry you are having troubles [:s]

Similar symptoms do not always equal "the same problem." Taking the advice offered to someone else is metaphorically like taking someone else's medicine. Be careful!
I would suggest trying to load to a blank layout. If that doesn't work, the best advice I can give you is to create a new thread, explain your issue clearly, and to provide appropriate details (including logs). For the latter, please see my signature line.
