Linking Clippings into Notes - is there a workaround for this?

I'm using Notes to build outline for a future document. I want to link to specific clippings within the note. Logos support said they couldn't see a way to do this, and suggested I ask here if anyone else has tried this and developed a work-around.

    You can link to the Clippings document via its L4 hyperlink, but not to a specific clipping in the document. The only way around that is to limit a Clippings doc to a single clipping.

    1. Get the L4 link from the Clippings doc
    2. Select the text in the Note e.g. Clipping
    3. Paste the link into the text box of the Link icon and Save it.
