I need to know that I understand the typological conventions so that I don't embarrass myself.

  1. square brackets: text supplied from another source
  2. italics: illegible text (the only one I found a definition for)
  3. line above
  4. asterisk .........not the blank footnote mouseover shows
  5. pipe (vertical line)

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."
