Notes copied into Sermon Docs are not editable
On Sunday I was working on a Sermon Doc and copy / pasted the contents of a Note into the document.
I then found that I couldn't edit the pasted text - in that I couldn't add new text to it. If I tried to delete an individual character the entire containing paragraph was deleted.
I was able to use Cmd-X to cut portions of the text and Cmd-V to paste in additional words.
On Sunday I was using Safari on a Mac and I've just reproduced this behaviour using Chrome on Windows 10.
If I paste the text from the Note into Wordpad and then copy / paste that into a Sermon Doc I can edit it without any problem.
It looks as though a straight copy / paste from the Notes Tool is bringing across some formatting information.

II bump
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Thanks for letting us know, Graham! Is this a relatively new bug for you (ie, did it work well previously)?

Hi David
Thanks for letting us know, Graham! Is this a relatively new bug for you (ie, did it work well previously)?
Sorry but I don’t use the web app much and think this is probably the first time I have done this - copying information from a note to a sermon doc
(I was asked to preach at short notice while I was away from home so did all the prep in the web app)

Hi Graham
Sorry for the delay. This is resolved and (as you probably already know) Sermon Builder has gone through a big update. You can access Notes directly in Sermon Builder and send the contents directly into your sermon or you can still copy-n-paste.

Yes
I like the ability to access notes from the Sermon Builder but also good to see the copy & paste issue I mentioned has been resolved
Appreciated, Graham
