- First, go into the app and tap on storage. If the option to move isn’t there, move on to the following steps.
- Activate Developers Option by going to Settings > About Device > Software Info > tap on Build Number until Developers Mode is turned on.
- Once step 2 is completed, go out to Settings. You'll see Developer Option now available at the bottom.
- Go into Developer Option > Scroll to almost the end (in the apps section) > Turn on "Force allow apps on external"
- Go out to Settings > Apps > Logos Bible > Storage > change to "External Storage" under Storage used.
It is my understanding that you can do so on Android. It is not possible on iOS.

I recall doing both on an older Android tablet. Of course that was on a much older version of Logos So your experience may differ.
In my experience, it was slower to load books and turn pages. I’m using an iPad now so I couldn’t say how Android handles it now.

Moving Logos to SD card from internal storage on Android is simple:
Logos Series X Pastor’s Library | Logos 3 Leader’s Library | 4 Portfolio | 5 Platinum | 6 Feature Crossgrade | 7 Essential | 8 M & W Platinum and Academic Professional | 9 Academic Professional and Messianic Jewish Diamond
Thanks everyone.
I tried the method recommended by Scott, and the system seemed to successfully move Logos.
When I check on Logos in the apps section of settings it indicates it's installed on the SDCard now,
however the internal memory has not been released.
I ran a cleaner app thinking maybe these were cached files, etc. I restarted the device, etc.
Is it possible the method you described only moved the APK but not the app's data (10 gig in my case)?
I've still got only 400 meg avail after supposedly moving 10gig. Thanks

I am not an android user so can’t be of much help. FL has only recently given a commitment to providing better support for large library downloads on mobile. I can tell you that on iOS I saw something similar when I was beta testing. The os would not release the storage even after deleting the app. My only solution was to wipe the entire device!

Thanks, the thing is my sdcard memory did NOT decrease either. So now the Logos app reports that it is on "external memory" but it really hasn't moved at all.

I dont think this is supported, but never tried, so could be wrong.
Here's a User Voice request related to this: https://logosmobile.uservoice.com/forums/190765-logos-mobile-apps/suggestions/3933709-default-downloaded-resources-to-external-sd-card

Thanks Myke,
I threw a couple of votes over there just now.

As I previously mentioned this is not currently supported by Faithlife (and likely never will be). There are many reasons why this is the case but if you need a full and detailed explanation I expect the Mobile Product Manager should be the most knowledgeable resource.
