Question re: {Milestone } or similar

In the forums we generally said that a datatype is a reference to while a milestone is an occurrence of. However, this does not apply to Bible Commentaries where the milestone bypasses the actual text and goes to the start of the commentary on ... This makes life very difficult when one wants to find all the occurrences of the Biblical text ... you aren't going to find those embedded in commentaries (or Text Creation Partnership and eBook resources but that is for a different reason). How would you search for occurrence of a Biblical text in non-Bible resources?

Yes, this is a known limitation in how our resources are currently tagged.

We have discussed introducing a third type of content marker (adding to reference and milestone) that would designate that content is "about" a reference.

If this were created, then commentaries might include three kinds of data type-related information:

references - citations of Bible verses
milestones - author's translation of Bible text
"about" - the main commentary text itself

Aside from the technical work required to create this third type of information, we would also have to revisit and re-tag all existing commentaries. At the moment, we see the value of introducing "about" tagging, but don't currently have a timeline for introducing it.

Thanks Bradley. I was hoping there was some trick that came close. I strongly support using a 3rd value ... and, unfortunately, can see that it is a major resource hog in development.
