Hello,

I am trying to install a John Piper add on to my logos 4.0. I also have 3.0 on my PC and as soon as I begin to run the Piper CD the 3.0 kicks in. I cannot seem to figure out how to make it load on 4.0. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

Load it into 3.0; synchronize your licenses; wait a few minutes; restart Logos 4 and it should begin downloading Piper into Logos 4.

Thanks, I will give that a try, but for some reason I am not getting the popup to enter my product SN#  Is there a manual way to do this, the books are in the library, but there all locked.

I've forgotten where it is. Have you tried opening a Piper resource? or it may be under the unlock function?  I hope someone else will jump in and rescue me [:$] I know I've run into problems of not having activate the product ... I just don't remember how I fixed it.

Your books are locked. Did you purchase the add-on from Logos?

BTW: you should be able to access Tools>Account Management in Libronix. That ought to prompt you for the serial number.

    Mike,

In looking at your account, I see that the John Piper Sermon Manuscript library has not yet been activated to your account. Since it seems you still have Libronix installed, follow the steps below for how to get the software activated and the books copied into Libronix which will cause them to show up in Logos 4 as well.

    XP

    1. Close Libronix & Logos 4
    2. Insert the John Piper Sermon Manuscript library disc.

    3. Go to My Computer, right click on the CD/DVD drive and choose Open or
      Explore.

    4. In the new window that appears, go to the Setup file that looks like a white
box with a blue lid and double click on that.

    5. When the Libronix update window appears, make sure that "Licenses" is
checked in the Required section. (If you do not see "Required", that is ok)

    6. Scroll down to the Optional section and look for the "User Interface" that
corresponds with your location. If you do not see one, choose User Interface
English United States and click Update.

    Vista/Windows 7

    1. Close Libronix & Logos 4
    2. Insert the John Piper Sermon Manuscript library disc.

    3. Go to My Computer, right click on the CD/DVD drive and choose Open or
      Explore.

    4. In the new window that appears, go to the Setup file that looks like a
computer screen and double click on that.

    • When the update is complete, open Libronix.

    • A tip window should appear in the bottom right hand corner of Libronix
saying that a Serial Number needs to be entered for the John Piper Sermon Manuscript library.

    • Click on the words Account Management in that window and follow the steps
that walk you through how to activate the software & copy the books as
      well.

When the above steps are complete, open Logos 4 and the books for the John Piper Sermon Manuscript library should automatically start to download. If that does not work, let me know and I will look into this more for
    you.
