Can the highlighting of a searched for word be removed from the search results?

I searched for a certain word. When I opened the suggested resources, that word is highlighted every time it appears. After I've found the resource containing the information I wanted, I don't need the highlighting--in fact it's distracting to me. Is there a way to remove all that highlighting? I searched for an answer in help and the forum, but I can't  find any options to turn off the highlight. The resources' 3 lens thing has no highlighting option. Clicking or right-clicking on the highlight will not remove it. Not even selecting the highlighted word and clicking Erase in the Highlighting Tab will remove it. It ought to be easy, but I need help to find the way to do it. Thanks.

Closing the Search tab is the only way to get rid of the search hit highlighting, which isn't very helpful if you still need it open as you're working your way through all the search results. But if you just wanted to find one resource and now you've got it open, this is your solution.

I think it has been suggested that this should be added as one of the visual filters (that "3 lens thing") that can be turned on/off, but it wouldn't hurt to make that suggestion again both in the Suggestions forum and by emailing suggest (at) logos (dot) com.
