How quickly can you bring to mind the Westcott and Hort Greek text when shown the NRSV version? What? It wasn't instantaneous? Then why does Logos expect me, who has never studied Greek to do it?
Yes, I am referring to the practice of showing me the scripture in my highest priority Bible when the text specifies a specific version other than my highest priority Bible. Yes, when a resource uses a single version, advanced prioritization can "fix" the issue ... but many (if not most) of my resources use multiple translations.
Yes, I know that to go back and add version where given to all the references in all FL resources is not a practical project unless other considerations force the recompilation and distribution of all resources. But at least you could make it easy to change the translation in the pop-up window so the problem was a small annoyance rather than a wall emblazoned with ... But appearing to believe that it is appropriate to offer English as an "expansion" of a note on what is omitted in Greek ... I chose to repeat my request on this occurrence as it is one of the more egregious examples.
