I finally stepped up to get a computer with a SSD. Wow. Logos was born for this. Upgrade as soon as you can!
Yep. First upgrade anyone should do. I put an SSD in an old a laptop with 4 GB of RAM and a 5th gen i3 I inherited. It runs well. With the 5400 drive the laptop came with you could hardly use Logos.
With the price of SSDs now everyone should get one yesterday. [:)]
with my old hardware, the computer was pretty much useless during indexing. Since I buy new books pretty regularly, there was probably half a day a week or more that my computer was so slow as to be useless.
