devotional on the Book of Revelation
I'm look for two devotionals on the book of Revelation. One needs to be from a Reformed perspective and the other from either an Eastern Orthodox or early church Father/mother.
anyone come across something like these?
mm.
I should add that it doesn't necessarily need to be from an "Early" church Father, just a church father

Given that one major slice of the Eastern Orthodox in practice still rejects Revelation (Russian Orthodox) the earliest that comes to my mind is Victorinus who is, as his name implies, a Western (Latin) church father. See Victorinus of Petovium, Apringius of Beja, Caesarius of Arles, and Bede the Venerable. Latin Commentaries on Revelation. Edited by William C. Weinrich, Thomas C. Oden, and Gerald L. Bray. Translated by William C. Weinrich. Ancient Christian Texts. Downers Grove, IL: IVP Academic: An Imprint of InterVarsity Press, 2011. for the Logos version.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

I found that I have a devotional by S. D. Gordon (aka Samuel Dickey Gordon) on the book of Revelation in my library, Quiet Talks on the Crowned Christ of Revelation. I cannot tell what denominational background he was from, other than that he was an evangelical lay minister, a prolific writer of devotionals and frequent lecturer all over, and that he served as assistant secretary of the YMCA in Philadelphia and then state secretary of the YMCA in Ohio in the 1880s and 1890s.
Another idea is to search through known Reformed and Eastern Orthodox publishers for devotional books on Revelation. One Reformed one I found (not in Logos) is Victory In Jesus: A Devotional Commentary on the Book of Revelation by Donald R. Johnson (Reformation Heritage Books).
Here's a list of Reformed publishers to help in your further searching: http://www.lettermen2.com/refpub.html
