I'm working through Mounce's BBG but am simultaneously working through Robert E Van Voorst's book "Building your New Testament Greek Vocabulary." There are no pre-created lists I can find like I was able to with Mounce.

Any ideas on how to make one? The video wasn't much help as it was solely based upon highlighting scripture and the automatic functions that happen therein. With Voorst I'm not sure what to do.

In all honesty to get the most out of your learning the best way is to write out by hand your vocabulary cards.  Putting that thought aside though as there is benefits to using electronic words lists in addition to hand written vocab cards. So this can be done but it still takes a bit of manual work.

And once again to get the most out of your learning I would say create each card manually in a word list document.  Putting that thought aside though what I would suggest the following approach:

1.Select and copy the group of words you want to add to your word list.

    2. Paste into excel.  Use Sort and text to column tools to tidy up the data.

    3. You should get a neat list with the words which you can then copy.

    4. In a new word list document choose Add words from clipboard menu option

    5. You now have your list of words ready to go.  If you wish to group words use the section field of each card to create the groupings.

Not to discount Disciple II's suggestion. You can find the word lists for Mounce here:

    https://faithlife.com/logos-flashcards-app/documents

You may have to join or follow the Failthlife group for access. Click on the action button next to the word list you want to have available for flash cards. Also, FL has a mobile flash card app as well.

  • Is this still available, I cannot seem to see anything there.

Hey Linton, and welcome to the forums!!  I went there and it was pretty much blank for me.  But then I joined the group and it filled up, I hope this helps.
