Yes, I've gone back to bumping questions/bugs that are more than a week old and have had no response. I try to do it late Sunday when the forums are very quiet so that it doesn't disturb the forum flow. Unfortunately, last night had a bumper crop of bumps even though I had bumped things last week. That is because I went back further than usual and didn't limit myself to the desktop app. It should be back to a barely noticeable blip next week.
If you have a post with a response but not an answer, you'll usually have to bump it yourself. I scan for posts with no responses.
