Logos Atlas help

Hi Everyone,

I recently purchased the Logos 8 Starter Package - first time user and for the most part enjoying it.

Where I need help is that I'm not quite having the success I was hoping for with the Logos Atlas. As I was doing my daily reading I came to Mark 3:8 where it mentions Idumea (ESV). I thought, "Ooo, now I have Logos. I'll just double click and it will come up on a map." Not so much.

After poking around a little in the Help docs I saw that I should go to Tools->Atlas. I opened up the Atlas and did a search. I got two results: "Flight to Egypt, Return to Nazareth"and "Herod Antipas Imprisons John". I clicked on the first link, but could find no reference to Idumea. (I later saw I had to zoom in in order to see the label.) The second map did have Idumea but I had to scroll down to find it.

I was hoping I could search for a location, click a link, have it open a map with the location highlighted on a map (e.g., red circle, arrow, or flashing something). Is there a way to do that in Logos? Is there a different way I need to search that would enable this? Or is there a specific add-on I need to purchase?

Let's try it this way and see if it works for you.

1. Right click on the word Idumea in your bible and ensure that you select "Place" in the available options. Then select Atlas.

2. On the first map that I have access to, I had to click the zoom button a couple of times for it to show on the map.

3. When I selected the second map, it showed without me having to zoom.
