Bug or By Design? Non-Exit-able Panel

Latest Logos Bible app; latest ios on a mini4.

Off-line, if you click on a reference to another book that isn't downloaded, the app happily opens a panel, of course can't find the resource, and presents a blank page.

The problem, is there's no exiting the blank page (ie touching the page to get the various menus). Best I could do, was remove the app from memory, restart, and then delete the blank panel.

In the example below, I selected a reference from DCH volume 9:

    I am sorry to hear that you have had trouble with this Denise.  This looks like the interface could be improved here.  I have reported this to our team.

    In the meantime, you should be able to swipe either left or right to go to an adjacent tab, and then close this blank tab.
