Okay, this one only has something over 40 references in my library, but it is VERY frustrating to constantly run into roadblocks when creating reference mapping that shouldn't even be necessary.
If one is looking at the patristic --> contemporary resources to see how a doctrine developed based on what texts, you would find that (a) not only does Verbum not have all the required documents and (b) one could not afford them even if Verbum had them. So the common solution is to use anthologies each of which has it's own reference system and which FL has not tagged with the original text milestones. So it is necessary to build a table of references that gives the FL datatype if one exists and links it to the reference system of standard resources such as Denzinger, Journel, Jurgens, Willis, Akins . . .This is rather difficult to do when resources lack the standard referencing (milestones, index). It will likely get even worse when I start tracing who influenced whom.
