Change layout but keep verse location?

Is there any way in Logos to go between layouts but keep you on the same verse?  For example, let's say I am using a daily reading layout with the bible on the left and notes on the right. Then I encounter a difficult passage. I want to switch to my more commentary heavy or multiple versions layout while staying on the same passage.

By default when I switch layouts Logos takes me to the verse I was reading when I was last using that layout. That means I then have to re-navigate to the verse I'm interested in. Is there a way around this? Some sort of preference to "maintain verse when switching layouts" type option? Thanks for any advice.

    I really like your idea but I’m afraid it isn’t currently possible in the software.
