Making a Logos Install Drive on USB?
I just got a KILLER new computer (top-spec Surface Laptop 3!), and I'm trying to install Logos, and something is screwy. I can't seem to download the install file, and I've tried Chrome, Edge, and (gasp!) Explorer.
Is there a way to create/burn an installation drive on USB from my existing computer (Surface Pro 4, running Windows 10 Pro and the most recent version of Logos 8)?

We don't have any mechanism to do that - you used to be able to buy a USB from Logos with the software installed but I don't know if that is still possible (but I don't think that is what you are looking for anyway!)
What download problems are you having?
Do the suggestions at https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360008567331-Problems-with-Logos-Setup-or-Updating-Logos help?

Thanks Graham! I'm not really sure what the problem is. I've never encountered this before (and have installed Logos on at least 7 different machines over the years). I'm at a public library now, and can't download an .exe file, so I can't replicate it. I'll try back later at a different location.

- From your existing computer, copy the folder %localappdata%\Logos\Install\Installers to your new computer.
- Run Logos-x64.msi to install Logos
- If necessary, run DXSETUP.exe

Okay, update: I was able to download the LogosSetup.exe file on a different computer and save it to a thumb drive. When I tried to install it, I got the following Windows message: "This app can't run on your PC. To find a version for your PC, check with the software publisher"
Thoughts?

You're welcome.
You should be OK for updates via the app, but we need to discover why Setup.exe won't run.
Try the steps on this Windows site, except for Solution 2 Compatibility Mode, Solution 3, 4.
As to why it won't download, that may be a problem with using a public site. Do you have your own Internet?

Thanks Dave, I'll check those out.
As to the internet, that's what really had me scratching my head. I was using a secure wired connection at church. It's about the safest internet in the city. I also turned off all firewalls and it still wouldn't go.
