Bible Verse Reference

I was wondering if its possible to make a refence to a Bible verse active where if you hover your mouse over it the reference verse appears. For example, in the pic below, in Rom 12:16 (NASB) when I hover over the small letter "c" the references to other verses appears and are highlighted and hovering the mouse over it reveals the verse itself and if I click on a verse it goes to that passage. I want to do a similar thing. I can make a note with a reference and when I hover over it it will show me the verse reference that I made but it won't show the actual verse. If I want to go to that verse I have to either type it in or click on the note icon to go to the reference in notes and then see what that verse says or go to it.

Manny, if you actually click on the "c" and then hover over the verse you wish to see, the verse will appear. (see below)

If you use the Notes tool, this is possible. Please explain exactly how you "make a note with a reference".

Hi Dave, for example if I want to make a bibe verse reference I will highlight the verse or portion of a verse, right click, and hit "take a note". From there the notes tool opens and I type in the verse reference. I use the green triangle for this particular thing so that I know everytime I see it that there is a verse reference.

Here is a Note on Dan 11:10 after selecting part of the verse:

The two references to Dan 11:10 will show the verse text on hover, and clicking will take you to the verse in the bible.

The same applies to the reference Mt 23:10 that I typed, but you have to press the space key after typing Mt 23:10 for that to work.

If you want a cross-reference link to a different verse, use the Add anchor button, as that creates a Note entry in the bible.

I appreciate your responce. Maybe I wans't clear enough. I know I can do that in notes and it will do exactly as you said, but I am trying to add a reference so that as I read my Bible (NASB) and I come across a verse or part of a verse, all I have to do is hover over the icon in my Bible and it will reveal the verse and show the verse text. As in my original post when I hover over the small "c", references to other verses pop up and are blue, and just by hovering over those verses (without actually going into the notes too) the actual verse text will appear and if I click on it, it will direct me to that verse.  Thats what I'm trying to make. So, using your example, I will do exactly as you said and an orange triangle will appear next to the verse in Daniel 11:10. When I hover over the orange triangle it shows Mt 23:10 but it will not show the text of the verse. I would actually have to click the triangle then that will open the notes tool and then from there I can hover over and see what it says. But I'm trying to skip that part. However, I also have logos on my phone and funny enough when I read a verse and I see my green triangle that I use as a verse reference it actually does what I want to do. I click the triangle the verse reference pops up as a blue link and even the verse text appears. But on my laptop that doesn't happen. I have to click on the triangle which will then open notes. I'm using Logos 8.

I see why you would want that, based on the phone app. You could make a suggestion on Uservoice.
