I am in "The Nicene and Post-Nicene Fathers Second Series Volume II" I have the show page numbers visual filter turned on and I am not seeing any page numbers.
Does anyone else get this?
Something very strange is going on here. I didn't see page numbers on the first few pages, but I've seen another book that had that problem before and the page numbers on that one started later in the book (after the introductory material) so I thought maybe that was the problem with this. So I jumped to p. 130 and sure enough I saw page numbers there. As I paged back up through the document (jumping at times to save time) I got back to p. 2 with no problem. It appears the page numbering starts at the beginning of Socrates Scholasticus. But then I typed p 1 into the reference box, and something bizarre happened. It switched to Volume I of this series. Now when I jumped back to p. 130 I was still in Volume I. Weird! It felt like I'd gone through a black hole or a singularity or whatever you call one of those tunnels that pop you out somewhere else in the space-time continuum.
Ok I am geting the same thing about that "WORM HOLE?" In volume 2, I got page one at that Socrates Scholasticus section and up from there. I was doing a search for arian and it gives page numbers that are before this Scholasticus section.
I have a feeling Melissa will know what to do about reporting this. Here's the other thread where I found a similar problem: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/18169.aspx
There is a lot of inconsistency in these volumes. "The Nicene and Post-Nicene Fathers, Second Series: Vol IV" doesn't have any page numbers until Athanasius, Bishop of Alexandria. And the first page number for "...First Series: Vol II" is also Page 2, which is the same as "City of God 1.2." If you scroll up from Page 2, it changes to "City of God 1.1.1"
I'll report these issues. Thanks.
