Library Filter

I am unable to get my Library Filter Side bar to work. I am clicking on the 3 line stack on the upper left corner but nothing happens. I have rebooted the computer, checked for new updates. I'm out of ideas. Any suggestions? Thanks!

It's possible that the sidebar is being toggled open (or closed) yet it would not be noticeable that something is happening if it had been dragged shut or to an extremely narrow width.
Try resizing the library window, which should let you resize the sidebar.
