Highlights disappeared

I can no longer see my highlights. If I go to notes they are listed. But when I turn to the reference (in this Calvin’s institutes) they are not visible. I have the view highlights/notes turned on. It is allowing me to make highlights as I find them in the notes tab but will not display????

I noticed it is working with other text but not the Institutes anymore

Actually I had the same problem. I just restart the app. In some resources it happens more than others.
