The ToC entry for Thursday, January 9, 2020 is mislinked to the Berakhot for Wednesday, January 8, 2020.

Sunday, January 12, 2020 is mislinked to Saturday, January 11, 2020.

Tuesday, January 14, 2020 is mislinked to Monday, January 13, 2020.

Wednesday, January 15, 2020 is mislinked to Tuesday, January 14, 2020.

(I stopped at that point, but there may be more.)

Note that this issue only shows up if you're navigating ahead to the problematic date. If you start at a later date, but navigate back to one of those dates, it opens to the correct place.

I'm guessing that means there are duplicate YMD milestones in the Daf Yomi, and it finds the first (wrong location) navigating forward, but the second (right location) navigating back.

Thanks for the report. I have an additional question.

Is this a navigation issue or a content issue?

e.g. Is the content for Thursday, January 9, 2020 correct? i.e. Berachos 6 is the correct reading for January 9.

I ask because when I navigate to Wednesday January 15 via the ToC entry the resource opens to January 15.

It's a navigation issue. The content is correct, but the ToC may navigate to the wrong place in the content, depending on its prior location in the content.

Using your example of January 15th, here are some steps that should reproduce the problem.

    1. Click on the ToC entry for January 11th. (A previous arbitrary date that is not adjacent to January 14th, ensuring that the second step will work correctly.)

    2. Click on January 14th. It should open to the correct place.

    3. Click on January 15th. It will open to the wrong place. Note that the location bar reports the 15th, even though the content is the second line of Folio 11A which is for January 14th. (If you scroll the content back a few lines, you'll see the location bar change to the 14th, and the date box for the 14th will appear in the content.)

It's not intermittent, but the distance from the prior date does seem to affect whether January 15th opens to the right location or not, as shown by this sequence of navigations:

    • Navigate to January 14th
    • Navigate to January 15th (wrong location)
    • Navigate to January 16th (right location)
    • Navigate to January 15th (wrong location)
    • Navigate to January 22th (right location)
    • Navigate to January 15th (now it's the right location)

Maybe you can make sense of why the ToC opens to the wrong location in certain circumstances but not for others.

    Thanks Kyle!

    Thanks Petah,

The repo steps help. It suggests it's an application issue as opposed to a resource issue. I'll write up a case for our team.
