Check the Hebrew11-Alphabet video. The letter Yod mistakenly has the letter'Ayin instead of Yod.

I just posted something about this. We knew the Hebrew alphabet problem but didn't want to delay shipping any longer. An updated video for download lives here:

Bad link. See the other post, which has the same bad link.
The updated alphabet videos have been posted now:

Thanks Rosie - I missed the original posting. It had scrolled off the list - thanks for reposting. We may want to do this occasionally over the next few days.

I did too. Just happened to see someone mentioned it in another thread today (without the link to where to find it) so I had to go digging.

Good idea. I'll try to remember. Logos really ought to send email to all the users who had purchased the DVD before the error was caught and fixed. I believe they'll be sending out newly manufactured disk to all previous purchasers eventually (after fixing up some other editing problems) but for folks to get the fixed alphabet videos ASAP is pretty important.

Absolutely!

I thought I read that this would only be "if requested." I hope they make the requesting the new DVDs easier than finding the downloads.
Bump - for Monday morning readers.

Oh yes, I think you're right. Well, all the more reason for them to send email out to all who purchased it before, so that they know they're eligible for a free update upon request. It's not usually in the nature of companies in business to let users know when they are due something free, but Logos is different. One hopes. [:)] We can do our best to let everyone on the forums know once the new DVDs are available.
Anyone of the same opinion that a transcript of the Learn To Use Biblical Hebrew and Greek would be helpful as well as the File Notes in the videos being able to be copied.
I've already requested the File Notes be posted somewhere for us to download, and they said they will consider that. I think a transcript would be a lot of work for them to prepare and I doubt they'd be too thrilled about doing it. It does not seem like Johnny and Mike were reading from a transcript when they made the videos. I think they probably had some outline of what they were going to say, but they know the product and the languages so well that they spoke extemporaneously. So making a complete transcript would be very time-consuming. I personally prefer to listen and watch and learn than read a transcript for this sort of material, though I can understand why you might want this. Don't hold your breath, though. If you'd like to request it, email suggest (at) logos (dot) com.
any word yet on the File Notes
Nope, no word. The initial response that they would "consider" it was not a promise. I suspect as long as there is no further word about it, they're either not going to do it, or haven't had time to consider it yet.
