BUG: Changing columns expands rows

In trying to produce a screen shot of a separate bug, I became VERY frustrated. I have an analysis panel open from a clause search - one that has over 560 identical rows because of the columns that I have not displayed as they are not meaningful to me. (No, I am not stupid - I exported to Excel to get something I could actually use which is why I know the number of identical rows), But I need to hide some additional columns in order to get a screen shot. When I hide a column, it expands all the rows that I contracted under reference. I don't need or want it to expand anything ... and as I am hiding data it has no logical necessity. Please leave the contracted sections contracted.
EDIT: It also appears that resizing a column expands roles ... I was sufficiently annoyed that I didn't repeat the action to verify.

Yes, it is annoying and unexpected (Analysis from a Morph/Bible Search does not do that).

MJ,
I'm not able to reproduce this, for me if I've collapsed a row and then added or removed a column the rows stay collapsed. Are you still seeing this on 8.11 Beta 3?

Yes, I am running beta and suspect that Dave is as well. You are testing on the Clause Analysis view? the other analysis views do not exhibit this behavior.

This where you start i.e. all collapsed.
Problem continues in Beta 3.

Another problem is that Object Sense cannot be selected i.e. it will not appear as a column.

Yes, for me if I add or remove an item they stay collapsed as expected. My understanding is that for you and MJ the rows are expanding?

Can you post logs? Are there any other steps?
- Run Clause Search on any Verb-Lemma
- Select Analysis
- Drag Reference to top for sorting
- Collapse all results
- This is the start scenario pictured in my screenshot above
- Right-click a column header
- Select/deselect any entry
- Results are expanded again

Thanks Dave,
It seems that the number of results is a factor, and my test examples were not triggering the behavior. I can reproduce it now. I'll get a case written up.
