James Morison's commentary on Matthew appears twice in 'Classic Commentaries and Studies on Matthew' under two slightly different titles:
James Morison - A Practical Commentary on the Gospel According to St. Matthew
James Morison - Commentary on the Gospel According to Matthew
They are different editions, published by different publishers, but it's the same book - I presume this isn't intentional.
Thanks Stephen. These are different editions. From a cursory glance there is different material in the intro and the conclusion. I would be surprised if there aren't other updates as well. The indices are completely different and would provide different reference points for study. The 1899 edition is not strictly a duplicate of the 1870, even though you rightly point out that the main thrust of the content is the same. These minor differences between editions still have value in the scholarly community, and the indices can help anyone interested in studying Matthew's Gospel. Thanks for your comment!
