Compair Versions (Passage Guide)

When using passage guide one of the tools that are available is Compere Versions. I have three questions in relation to this graph.

1. It is apparent that the graph has an X Y axis. What is the function of these axes?

2. Does the first bible selected determine the X Y axis or is the X Y axis determined by an underlying Greek text?

3. Finally, the sidebar. Lovely colours. Are they just decoration or do they have some significance?
