I would like to search a standard reference (Ott) to another standard reference (Denzinger)? The problem is that the abbreviation used for the resource is "D" which is not particularly unique.
Not at the right computer, but doesn't running a concordance give you a list of references within the resource?

I thought it did but a few days ago when I was investigating Jubilees it didn't appear to ... I would suspect it depends on the level of the tagging on older resources.
Beloved, I'm doing some checking to see how close your method comes to accurate results.
I continued to work with this idea and found a way to generate data, albeit apparently limited and convoluted. Perhaps, you will be able to tease out more complete data.
I am not familiar with the details of this feature, but isn't Cited by created for just this type of search? I seem to recall that this tool would report any time Denzinger is cited by Ott.
Cited by is for Bible verses. However, John and MJ, I was able to see some promising results with the Concordance Tool.
Cited by is designed to work for specific references not for an entire work it.e. "Jubilees 1.5" rather than "Jubilees". But it is worth throwing into the mix of potential solutions.
[Y][Y] As I said, I'm not real familiar with the tool, but it sounded like a reasonable starting point. With SO MANY features in L8 it is easy for one that is seldom used to be overlooked.

Oh, so true. When I saw your suggestion, I thought, well, yes, a CitedBy accepting a book (without specific reference) would be good. 'All references by the Fathers collection to the Lives of the Prophets'
But then I thought, actually this functionality would be hidden to most customers. And maybe a bear for maintaining speed. Might be better to just put its functionality in 'search'.
Then, I noticed MJ's suggestion. I'm not terribly swift! So many tools.
