Inability to Search Offline on iPad
Logos is missing out on potential sales. To be completely unable to search offline books is a huge weakness in the software. If the books are available offline, they should be able to be searched offline. After all, isn't the ability to do word or file searches one of the most basic functions of a computer?
The church I attend has no cell or Wi-Fi service in the sanctuary. And, if I'm in the mountains to find time alone with the Lord, I'd like to be able to search my offline books. Wouldn't you?
Apart from this glaring weakness, I'm still a devoted Logos user for nearly 20 years. I hope this is a fix that will be implemented soon.

The iPhone app has come a long way since its first release, especially for offline use (it didn't used to have any offline ability). Since I use it entirely offline I am grateful for all the steps that have been made. So far I have mentioned around 7 feature requests and my top 5 out of 7 have all been done.
Offline search (a surface level text search for the open resource is sufficient) and speed improvements are the last two items on my list. Both of these are a little (or a lot) more programming intensive. It will be great to see them in the future (perhaps the near future?).
I am very grateful for what we have and the books I have been able to read has multiplied with being able to take them with me.
Thank you Logos for all your work on this app.
Rob
