BUG: Program Scaling and UI issues
Due to the numerous problems with using a reduced program scaling and an increased resource scaling I have resolved myself to using the default 100% for both. My complaint, and I know it has been voiced before, is that the space used in the tab header does not allow the verse entry box to expand to show the entire verse. There is enough space, but the design is flawed. Why do the icons not wrap or provide a dropdown for them if the columns are too narrow? Why is the entry box so limited? Why can't the issues with scaling get fixed? I was going to put this as a recommendation for Logos 9, but this is really an issue to get fixed in Logos 8.
UI is important. If the default settings do not allow for a layout to show everything, which it should, then at least fix the scaling issue so users can manipulate the design to provide such.
Below is a sample of the entry boxes not showing the entire content, and the space between the parallel resources icon and the back icon not being used appropriately.
Mac 10.14.6
Logos 8.11.007
Thanks for your consideration in getting the UI/Program setting issues resolved quickly.

Here is another example with the Text Comparison Tool. This is using 3 panes with 100% scaling. Note there is no way to select what text to compare unless you float the window. There is plenty of room, but the design does not allow it.

This is a UI bug unless you designed L8 to only work with two panes. Users should not be forced to a set layout because the UI is limited. Logos itself really demands 3 regular panes and one or two narrow ones for Information Panel and Highlighting or favorites. If scaling works properly, then maybe users could create the layouts that work best for them without UI limitations, but I think a more thorough review is in order.
