Interlinear Luther17 iOS
Hello,
I'm new to Logos and I really love it! ;-)
I bought the Lutherbibel 2017 interlinear version and it's working fine on my MacBook.
But: I don't get the interlinear view on the iPad. I read in another thread that I can find it in "View Settings", but there is no such option. Am I doing something wrong or is that layout not supported for mobile apps/this resource? Will it get added in the future?

I don't get the interlinear view on the iPad.
What you have shown is the REVERSE interlinear. This feature, as shown, is not available on mobile. You can only check the original language words "underneath" the surface text a single word at a time. You do so with a long press.

Thank you for the information! I know about the "pop-up" version underneath and it is very handy, but it's only available online. As I bought the bible as an interlinear version I thought there might be some toggle to show the the greek text under the German text, as shown in this post. Is this a special resource there, which always displays the interlinear text? Or how did they get this view?

The resource you have is a GERMAN language resource with a REVERSE interlinear. That isn’t the same thing as an “Interlinear” bible, which has the biblical language on top (in biblical order) and other languages below.
I know this may not make sense to you, but these are fundamentally different. The feature you are wanting to use is for a different kind of resource. In a PRINT version of an INTERLINER, there would be 4-5 rows for each line of text. The print version of your bible would have only one row per line of scripture (which is the “surface text.” The row beneath the German text on the desktop doesn’t exist in the resource, but rather in a special “reverse interlinear“ tool. Although it would be easy to think these are the same, they are not. The rows in the interlinear are part of the actual resource. The rows (on desktop) in the reverse interlinear are not.

If the resource is a German Bible which uses the "Reverse Interlinear" tool, then what I wrote above should be right. If the resource is somehow different and is like the other "regular" interlinears, the above might be wrong.

This is what I was searching for. But I guess - as you explained - this is not possible with the Luther2017 bible. Here are my options in View Settings:
And "Bibel Text only" doesn't give me the options you have. Thanks for the explanation!

I guess the last way to double check (since my German is nicht so gut):
On desktop, here is what the "Interlinear" shows:
And here is what my ESV shows:
The feature you want will appear only for resources which show "Inline Interlinear" and not for ones which show "Inline Reverse Interlinear."
For what its worth: This is a much requested feature!

Mine shows "Inline Reverse Interlinear", so problem solved - it is not available for this resource.
But yes, I'd love to see this feature for those resources on mobile, too! [;)]
