How long does a new installation take
The install has been running for 11 hours. Still in Step 1 "Preparing to download resources".
7900+ resources, Access via web page looks normal.
Windows 10
Installing to SSD
70-100 Mbps download speeds
Dell xps 8920 i7 processors.
Was hoping it would install while I was sleeping. If it's going to be much longer will take a look at the install methods on the wiki.

Hi Perk,
If you have not already done so, please download the latest version of Logos from https://www.logos.com/get-started instead of relying on a USB or a installation file that was downloaded more than a week ago. You would first need to close Logos before using this newer installation file.
It sounds like this might somehow have gotten stuck. What happens if you simply restart the computer and then open Logos?

It finished after about 14 hours. I did reinstall the software from a link on logos.com. not sure if it was it was the link in your reply.
There is a discrepancy in resource count between the web version library view (7916 resources) and the desktop library view (6846).

There will always be a discrepancy between desktop, web, and mobile. However, the number does sound particularly high. Can you give a screenshot of your desktop library with the “devices” facet showing?

The discrepancy is related to hidden resources. The web app includes them in the library view, the desktop doesn't. I tried to post a screenshot but for some reason it won't paste.

I just discovered this. I noticed that some of the resources I had hidden (Latin and Greek texts) show up in the web app but not in the desktop app.
