Searching for all personal references in an author' book

How would you or even could you search for all personal references that an author alludes to in his own work(s)?

1. If I wanted to write a biography on John Flavel how would I search his Writings for all personal data?
2. How would I do the same in none Flavelian authored books? Such as journals, theologies, magazines and the like?
3. Is there a way to categorize search parameters, such as, searching for personal references to only his  'youth' 'illnesses' 'family' 'personal experiences with, God, Jesus, the Spirit, friends' etc.?

Short of reading close to 3700 pages of just is Works, which in time will happen, are these questions about searching doable?

You can search for personal pronouns e.g. (I, me, mine,my,myself)

You could search for Flavel, he, him, his WITHIN {Headword Flavel}

No. You could try "his youth", "my youth", "his friends", "my friends" in the above searches.

Relationship to God ==> try  (his NEAR God) in above e.g.  (his NEAR God) WITHIN {Headword Flavel}
