BUG: Linked Tabs not in sync (by reference)
I have a bible and a custom reference-type guide linked...as you can see, they are not in sync. Any ideas why when I tap on a verse in the Bible (so that the reference in the box changes) that the linked guide does not automatically refresh?

I am sorry I can't be of much help. I do not use Logos much for original language work. I do have some questions, which may or may not be helpful.
What is "translation guide?" I do not seem to have that. Is this a custom guide you have created?
I see that your Bible is in chapter 1, even though the reference locator suggests 2:1. The "translation guide" shows 1:7, which does happen to be visible in the associated bible (so based on that, the scrolling seems to be working). What happens if you scroll to a much later verse OR even another book?

I created a custom guide to use when I do translating...I named it Translation Guide
Scrolling does seem to jump start the link and both the bible and the guide change, but they still remain unsynced half the time. For example, I just scrolled in my bible to the 3rd chapter of the book. The active bible reference is showing as 1 Thess. 3:7 BUT the active guide reference is showing as 1 Thess. 3:5.
It seems to be a bug of some kind. I have discovered a workaround that produces a reliable sync...I have to 1) right click on a word in the desired verse in the bible tab then 2) left click on the same word. Then the bible and guide sync up.

Alabama can correct me, but the reference box is often where you last clicked on the text. If you click around on the text, it changes. I guess your right-clicking wakes it up.
It's been a challenge for about 10 years. The mobile app is similar. In the early days, it was humorous to see how far off it could be. After several years, it wasn't so humorous.
My impression is smaller panels don't nudge their get-text routine, and associated syncing. Most users have larger panels which generally stay more in sync, and they never see the issue. Your experience 'half the time' is about right.

I have no difficulty keeping them in sync. Are you on Mac?

I can duplicate the problem on a PC ... but not quite define it
- when I open the NT and then the Guide ... add link to Guide then link to NT .....the guide does not pick up the reference
- when I open the NT and then the Guide ... add link to NT then link to Guide .... the guide does pick up the reference
- the first time I click on another verse always works
- the second time I click on another verse, the results are mixed
I suspect that it has to do with timing .... whether the Guide is completely done building ... but it is clearly a bit more than that. It also seemed as if once it failed to move it was far more likely to ignore the next change. I would suggest reporting it as a bug. If you could provide video and logs FL would be singing your praises.

MJ...that’s exactly what I’m experiencing. Will report bug as advised. What’s the best way to report bugs?

Simply edit your title to start with the word BUG .... or ask that someone from FL do it if you're already out of time for such modifications.
