This does not happen all the time but enough times  to wonder what is really happening.

I select a word in the Bible-for example, the word, “world” in John 3:16.

I have threechoices

Lookup

Search

Study.

Lookup takes me to an Encyclopedia by Baker.

Search searches for the word, “world”

Study gives me all sorts of Dictionaries and Encyclopedias but nothing related to defining the Greek word.

No concordances, Lexicons, or language dictionaries.

In the past-would bring up the Greek works needed to define and understand but obviously not always.

Am I doing something wrong or should I be looking elsewhere for what I need?

Thanks

Dave

I think I figured it out but would love someone to confirm with me.

I sometimes use the KJV and was trying this with the MEV as I am checking that one out(used to be KJVO but stopped believing that well over ten years ago.)

Same problem with MEV. Than used the ESV and it pulled up all the familiar Greek resources I am accustomed to seeing.

what I think is happening-for some versions like the KJV, it is not going to pull all that up like on the computer copy of Logos and I understand you are not going to get all just like the program functionality.

I don’t know all the versions that will work the issue I am working but I know the ESV is plenty good to work with.

I am just glad I can download over 24,000 resources on to my phone.

    Thanks

    Dave

You need to ensure you are using a version that has an embedded reverse-interlinear. And some KJV translations do while other’s dont
