- Added support for the creation of sub-folders within a folder that has been selected.
- Added support to add a Favorite to a folder when it is selected.
I was able to get the first feature above to work, but not the second. Can you explain what the second bullet above means and how to achieve it? I tried right-clicking on a favorite and then clicking 'create new folder.' I assumed it would create a new folder and then place the favorite I right-clicked inside that folder but that didn't happen. It just created a new sub-folder within the folder that the favorite is in. Please clarify what was supposed to happen.

HI Kiyah,
What the means if you select a folder and then use the "Add Favorite" it will add the new favorite to the selected folder rather than the bottom of the Favorites list.

Once again, it feels like Logos has taken two steps backward with this update. Sermon Editor is more sluggish than usual, mouse scrolling is to the point of frustrating, there is a major lag on the corresponding word feature (that was operating very well before this last update), and the hyperlink to verses has a major lag time in giving you the verses in a pop up window, and the context menu is sluggish.
It is just very frustrating because this is not cheap software and to have these kind of basic problems when updates occur. Does more testing need to be down before the updates are released?

If one steps back and reads what has changed in this release, there are no changes that should have affected the four functions you mention:
- sermon editor
- mouse scrolling
- corresponding words
- hyperlink to verses
Note that all of these functions are affected by computer hardware and indexing issues. I'm thinking of things such as a failing drive so that a read function has to be executed multiple times before it is successful. Please start a new thread, explain the problem as it most recently occurred and attach logs so that we can see if we can sort out what's going wrong for you.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

ALL of the above mentioned function worked beautifully before this most recent update and I have been using Logos for around 27 years, and there have been plenty of times where, "Well, nothing we updated should have resulted in that problem" but has resulted in other things not working as they should. My searching seems fine and my passage guide seems fine and my scrolling in other programs are fine, just Logos and I know that has been and on and off problem with Logos as well as the Sermon Editor being sluggish.
But the correspnding word feature was absolutely working better until this update and I have a MAC that is less that a year old, I do not believe we are looking at a drive issue.

Have you tried restarting your computer?
Alternatively, trash the Logos app and then manually re-install it

Pastor Michael,
What operating system are you running? What OS version? I'm not noticing a significant delay, but the additional information would help.

The Sermon editor needs lots of polishing. It’s too raw for it to be called an “editor.” The foundation is great, but needs more added to it.

Philana, my desktop version of Logos 8 is now 8.13, It was automatically upgraded from 8.12. How could that happen if only 8.12 was released?
It is working fine, but I am puzzled about the discrepancy between 8.12 being released and 8.13 automatically being updated from 8.12.
I just checked it in Logos again, and it is 8.13 ending in 0008.

8.13 was released on 28 April as per https://community.logos.com/forums/t/190344.aspx
New releases are made available on a (roughly) 6-week cycle and if your computer is set to download updates automatically it will be updated when released

Thanks Graham, I was accustomed to updates being noted in the standard forum for Logos 8. Guess I missed the link you sent.
