I would strongly suggest that if you are going to sell a book or a set of books, and are going to have a video explain what they can accomplish, that said video is using the latest or at least has a video that uses the latest version of Logos. My example is the Lexham Discourse Bible (8 vol set). I purchased it based on watching the video that accompanied the ad. Then when I tried to use them as per the video that wasn't possible as Logos 8 uses these resources in a completely different manner. I used the chat service only to be sent a link to a video that was exactly the video that was used in the advertisement. The instruction video acknowledged that it was out dated and linked you to the Logos 8 help section where there is "no" corresponding training video. So now I have a resource that I have to try to figure out how to use by watching videos that skirt around the edges but never exactly talk about this resource in the same way the ad video did. I am not an expert in Logos 8 so the video training is paramount for me in being able to use Logos. I feel that this type of sale of a resource with outdated training is a bit disingenuous of Faith Life.
