Hello all, I'm unsure if this is the right place to post this, but I was thinking of buying a laptop for when I pursue studies, and one of my considerations is for it to be used to run Logos. I'm not very tech-savvy, and thought to seek advice from people who may be more experienced than myself.

I'm looking at this laptop build below, and I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on whether it will be sufficient to run Logos 8 smoothly, and if it isn't, what you might recommend.

Operating system Windows 10 Home 64
Processor and graphics Intel® Core™ i7-10510U (1.8 GHz, up to 4.9 GHz, 8 MB cache, 4 cores)+Intel® UHD Graphics
Memory 16 GB DDR4-2666 SDRAM (2x8GB)
Display 15.6" FHD IPS micro-edge WLED-backlit multitouch-enabled edge-to-edge glass (1920 x 1080)
Storage 512 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD

P.S. Sorry if this is in the wrong forum - Mods, please feel free to move it if necessary! :)

Thanks everyone!

Your specs are just fine for Logos 8. I can't imagine why you wouldn't be happy with how it performs with Logos.

Welcome to the user forums, Jabez!

Your machine specs are definitely looking like you would be running Logos not only smoothly, but like a breeze! If you will want to invest into something, then probably into a second monitor to see more of it! [H]

The machine shouldn't be an issue in running Logos. If the handling gives you any questions, don't hesitate to come back, there'll be many in the forums ready to help.

Have joy in the Lord! Smile

Using a similar setup and the whole machine is a breeze. Logos flies.

I agree that the laptop build that you describe is quite adequate.
