I'm trying to add https://wiki.logos.com/Logos_8_Commands to my shortcuts bar and can't seem to figure it out. Can anyone help?
you just drag the URL (e.g. from a browser address bar or from your post, that's what I did, and dragging means holding the left mouse button down and moving the mouse) into the area of the shortcut bar between Tools and where the sync circle is, then you drop it there (i.e. release the mouse button)
It doesn't work for me and yes I do hold the left button and drag.
mm.
It doesn't work for me
Care to elaborate in more detail?
drag & drop consists of two parts:
What goes wrong, the first part (e.g. from using a sub-standard browser or OS) or the second one (in Logos)?
This first snag is what happens...
When I drag and try to drop on my menu bar in L8 it doesn't "take"
Sometimes, I drag to Favorites and from Favorites to the shortcut bar ... I've never spent the time to figure out why that is sometimes required. I just know it works for me.
In my experience, it matters where you start the drag from in the browser. Some browsers and operating systems support one method such as dragging from a hyperlink or selecting the text in the address bar and dragging the selected text, and others do not.
I've had the best luck on multiple browsers and operating systems with navigating to the desired page, then dragging the lock icon just to the left of the address bar at the top of the web page.
Tried to drag from favourites and no go Joe.
What did work though was a drag and drop from a google search from Mr. Google himself.
I did try to drag and drop the lock icon but to no avail. Tried to highlight the address and that didn't work either. But as mentioned above, I asked The Google to find said sight and dragged one of the results over yonder L9 and viola.
