Can anybody tell me why ESV is on the next line and not next to the reference?

This is what I have:

%NoCharFormatting
%NoRedLetter
%NoFootnotes
%NoCitation

=ForEachVerse
[FullVerseRef][Version]<p><p>[VerseText]<p>
<p>

This is what I get:

Matthew 5:1

ESV

Seeing the crowds, he went up on the mountain, and when he sat down, his disciples came to him.

Matthew 5:2

ESV

And he opened his mouth and taught them, saying:

Matthew 5:3

ESV

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 5:4

ESV

“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

    The <p> introduce new paragraphs, try removing them from the coding

    =ForEachVerse
    [FullVerseRef][Version]<p><p>[VerseText]<p>
    <p>

    There appears to be a problem with  [FullVerseRef], so use

    =ForEachVerse
    [FullBookName] [ChapterNum]:[VerseNum] [Version] <p><p> [VerseText]
    <p>
