- Fixed an issue where popups were covered by the bottom tab bar.
- Fixed an issue that truncated the content of certain Faithlife Study Bible tables (for example, Jesus' "I Am" Statements in the notes for John 15:1).

The updated verse picker is huge on my iPhone. It used to be that I could see all the books in one page, but now I have to scroll to get to see all the books and that is very annoying. I can understand that this could be a better view for people with smaller phones, however on the iPhone 11 Pro Max, it doesn’t look good at all.
Could we please have a setting where we can choose which verse picker to use? I would definitely choose the old version, where I could see all the books on a single page. I‘m enclosing a pic so we can see how huge it is.

I see something similar on my iPhone 6s - and agree it isn't helpful.

Maybe having it configurable so that the user can choose which verse picker he wants, the new version or the older version.

Prefer the old verse picker. Too big, too much scrolling.

Agree - that's what I immediately noticed. I never had problems with the previous verse picker. Don't understand the motivation for the change.

For my part, I don't mind the large size and a simple, very small scroll. I aesthetically prefer this and it is easier to not mistap the book. I'm not saying you're wrong, but just wanted to present my alternative perspective since I do not have a problem with this. I also have the 11 Pro Max and it isn't a ton of scrolling needed. The whole OT fits; a simple swipe to get to NT

I like this feature. However, it seems to ignore my prioritized lexicons. Has anyone else noticed this?

Yes, I think a good portion of users will Ike the new verse picker as well as a good portion like the old verse picker, that’s why I think making it configurable so that the user picks the verse picker they want might be a good solution here.

I also was surprised to find the HUGE TILES in my android phone this morning.
A couple issues with it, besides a big waste of real estate.
I am pretty good with the Books in the bible, but not always so good with the 2 letter abbreviations. To find Lamentations or Jonah, I sometimes need to identify some other Books near by with some confidence in which abbreviation I am looking for. "SO", "IS, ah, that must be Lamentations.
Since that is my mode of operation, then it is easier for me if I see all the books as opposed to scrolling up and down. Now, having said that, when I opened Bible on my android tablet, it was not nearly as off putting as it was on the phone. Still a waste of real estate, but since the tablet is large, and thankfully, the TILES on the tablet did not scale up to reach across the entire display, it was, <sigh>, okay. Thanks for not scaling the tiles to jumbo size on the tablet.
I really do prefer to have all the books on one page and I have gotten used to the chapters being on 2 pages on occasion.0 -

Having a choice between the one-page verse picker and the updated version would be a great option. After reviewing the mobile app settings, a visit to the forums helped me to understand what happened. Thank you.

After a week, and since we did not go JUMBO tiles on the tablet, I can live with this verse picker change. The 1st day was certainly reactionary.
I would not bother making this configurable because that would just make the entire application a little larger. I do not believe the trade off is there.
I STILL prefer the tiles the way they were.0 -
I'd like the old picker back if possible. This one now requires scrolling on my phone.

The new verse picker is very annoying. I would very much prefer to go back to having everything on The first page rather than having to scroll.

I agree. I prefer the "all on one page" layout better than the "larger targets" layout. It seems like there used to be a way to select which layout you wanted. Please bring back the "all on one page" verse picker layout.
