Unablre by Reference or Resource in Notes in Logos 8.12

Morris Proctor claims that in 8.3 we will be able to sort our notes by reference or resource. I can do neither. Those to words are never in bold for any of my notes no matter how many notes I have

I did a search for notes and read all the headers. This topic does not appear to be answered

    Are you sure that the notes you are sorting have references or are attached to resources? I can sort some notebooks and not others - grayed out means it doesn't apply to the current notes for sorting, normal means you can sort on it.

    FWIW, you have to select an entry under Notebook or  Resource in the Sidebar to "sort" i.e. have those options appear bold.

    For the other, select an entry under Reference (or Bible Book) in the Sidebar e.g. Bible. This is a genuine sort.
