For some reason you can keep buying the book version and it doesn't show as owned but it pops up in the web app
If you have friends that don't have logos they can also get it in FLEB or below

It hasn’t downloaded yet...
PS. I guess it’s not yet available in the mobile app. I got the email receipt, but I guess it’ll download when it’s really ready. Can’t get too picky with freebies 👍😁👌

It seems not free now.
Just the Audio version is free.
It was free yesterday. Must have been a boo-boo
You can still get the free book via the other link I put above. Just not a logos version

Yes thank you Mattillo! [Y]
Boo boo it was! I got it for free, but neither one shows on my iPhone.
Yeah. It doesn't show on my phone either but I can access it via desktop and web app. It'll probably show later today. Mobile is usually behind
Visible in my App, but I'm an Android user.
Whenever I see a free resource, I grab it immediately because it doesn't always stay "free."
It appeared within the last hour on IOS.
It is free again. I just got it.
This resource is now available on Mobile.
Thanks for posting Nord! I got them too for both my personal account and our church (free resources) account
They should both be and stay free, at least for a while. An automated process changed the price of the ebook, but we've fixed that.
I read it yesterday on Kindle (sent the .mobi to my kindle). It is seriously so good! Highly highly highly recommend that you take the time to read or listen to this book
Sorry all! As Phil said, and automated process inadvertently overwrote the price.
We asked our customer service team to refund the purchase price for anyone who paid for it. If you paid for it and haven't been refunded, please let us know.
Thanks!

Still not free in UK. So did I miss it?

I now see what you mean. I purchased it free but not sure why it's not appearing free for you
The book version is not free this morning
Mark, this is displaying as free for me.
Please make a point of refreshing the page in your web browser, and then let us know if this is still a problem for you.
It is showing free again and I was able to get it. Earlier, however, it was not an issue of refreshing the browser. My pc is turned off each night. It showed a $4.99 price when I turned the computer on this morning.

Sorry about that!
Bought it (for free!), read it (a worthwile reading) and wrote my review on the product page! [:)]

Hi Joe
I know this is a free book but I noticed when reading it that some of the footnotes don't function correctly. Some will show you the note and the next note but then the next note will drop you to the bottom. This is typical in FLEB books but since this is also in Logos I thought I'd bring it to your attention. Regardless, thank you for giving it to us for free in Logos.
I'm really grateful for all the free books, and don't want to complain.
Therefore, this is not to be seen as a complaint, but as bringing another defect to your attention.
For any other audio book / ebook or audio book / logos resource combination that I own, the "read aloud" function lets me choos from the audio book or the synthetic voice. However, the coronavirus resource has only the synthetic voice option. Again, I'm not complaining. Maybe it's like that on purpose. But if not, then there's some error in the resources.
I cannot reproduce this problem, Jan.
What kind of device are you using when you experience this problem?

I have the same issue. The Read Aloud option doesn't work with the audiobook, only the computer voice. I'm using Windows 10 and have Logos 8.
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit with all the latest patche and updates. Here's a screenshot of the coronavirus resource (not choice) right next to the LEB choice between audio recording and synth voice.

Sorry, Jan, I now understand what you mean.
This is actually the case with most of our audio resources. If an audio resource can be purchased separately, and is not bundled with the text, you can expect it not to sync with the corresponding text resource.
I am sorry that this was not made clear in the product description, we will be correcting that.
You can quick read Piper's book this way:
https://www.thegospelcoalition.org/article/20-quotes-coronavirus/
I haven't tried the audiobook in Logos but Crossway podcast had one recently with Piper reading his own book. It would be great if that audio stream could be put into Logos as the voice you mention above doesn't sound all that pleasant

Just noticed there are extra books available like the monthly free book of the month +1s.

Logos offers have been good recently! I've just bought this one so far:
https://www.logos.com/product/168842/resurrection-life-in-a-world-of-suffering-1-peter
I do like picking up commentaries.
I resisted buying another as I found the author makes it available as a free PDF and as I wasn't sure how much I'd use it, I decided adding a PDF to my Kindle library will suffice. And I really want to resist spending too much this month.
Make this coronavirus audio book free too: https://www.logos.com/product/192077/where-is-god-in-a-coronavirus-world
I mean, what is it with people, all of a sudden they write a short lesson on the pandemic and they want to make money off of it? How’s that supposed to encourage people? At least Piper is offering his for free for a good while. 👍😁👌

The digital book is available online for about $2 I think.
Thanks, Paul! I guess is not a logos version. Maybe they can at least offer the ebook for free. $15 bucks for the topic of suffering and God switched to Coronavirus and God is not something I’d pay for. Not for a short lesson written on spur of the moment to make a quick buck.
Stay safe 👍😁👌
The 'free' Piper book still isn't free for me:
Sorry about that Stephen! We have fixed that problem, and this resource is once again available at no cost.
