The loss of a sermon is more than a Greek tragedy
How many of you use the Sermon Editor in Logos?
Today, I had nearly completed my sermon for tomorrow. I was putting some final touches on the manuscript. I went to move a portion of the text. You know, highlight, ctrl-x, ctrl-v. Simple stuff. But a slip on the track pad and the ctrl-v took out the entire text. Wiped it. All that was left was the text I pasted.
No undo. No recovery. Lost. 6 hours. gone.
About 3 months ago I thought this would be the right thing. But, I NEVER WANT TO HAVE THAT HAPPEN AGAIN!
Back to MS-Word for sermons.
I wish that Logos would code in a simple undo or ctrl/cmd-z function.

I'm very sorry you lost your work and valuable time.
Ctrl/Cmd + Z should undo your last action.
I've asked the team to look to see if we can recover your sermon document from before your accident.

I received a call, and appreciate the help.
CTRL-Z did nothing, unless this was some kind of software freak out. After all, these are Persian devices....[:D]

Recovering it will take a couple of hours, which we're happy to do. I just want to make sure that if we recover it for you by tomorrow that it'll still be helpful to you. Is this your sermon for this coming Sunday? Will having it to you by tomorrow be okay?

Thank you.
It was for Maudy Thursday, tomorrow.
I have redone most of it now, so thank you for.looking into.it.
Please don't waste the hour to recover. It's not life and death. When it happened, it was life and death for me. Now, not so much.
Again, thank you.
